Process:
We understand that making the decision to euthanize your pet can be extremely difficult. It is our goal at Patterson Veterinary Hospital to make this process as easy on you as we can.
When you schedule your appointment, we will schedule your appointment time to be an hour and a half – this will ensure that you have enough time to say goodbye and can truly focus on your pet instead of feeling rushed.
When you arrive to the clinic, we will first take care of the paperwork and payment. All you will need to focus on after that is your pet. We will take you to our private quiet room that is comfortable and away from the noise of the clinic. When it is time to go home, you can exit through the back door instead of walking through the waiting room.
We work with Trusted Journey Pet Crematory to offer pet cremation services. If you choose this option, your pet’s remains would be returned to the clinic within 7-10days, sometimes sooner. If you would like more information, please visit https://www.trustedjourney.com/.
Keepsakes:
If you would like a keepsake from your pet, we have a few options for you. At the clinic, we offer ink prints of the paw or nose. We are also able to help you collect a hair sample if you have not already done so. Through Trusted Journey, you can also order a clay paw print or look at ordering an urn.
