Everybody, meet Crash! Crash is a great example of how pets can overcome challenging behaviors with time and effort. Not every pet gets excited about coming to the vet – hard to believe, we know! In fact, some pets are so averse seeing their vet that they exhibit aggressive behaviors, usually as a result of escalating fear or anxiety. Unfortunately, Crash was one of these dogs.
While not every dog may be as highly reactive as Crash when it comes to veterinary appointments, they may still benefit from some type of intervention to reduce their anxiety. If you are concerned that your pet may be timid or fearful when coming to the vet, please as one of our staff members or doctors about what options are available to help! Our goal is to be able to offer cooperative veterinary care by allowing our patients to be willing participants in their own care.
